Leave the dual carriageway just outside M'Diq and follow a country road for a few minutes- (Donkey cart is good but this may be more convenient in a car... )

 

 

In the basin of the mountains, opposite the nature reserve mount of Cabo Negro, is our  small  complex. Three minutes further and you are at the wide sandy beach, curving round the coast towards the seaside resort of Martil,( photographed at the top of the page in autumn- in the summer there are sunshades and lots of activties going on).

 

 

 

Two low semicircles of  flats surround gardens of green lawns and flowers. Sunloungers encircle the large  pool and are dotted around under thatched sun shades.  At the end is a new tennis court and  children's playground (left) .  In summer a small cafe is open for drinks, snacks and basic groceries. 

 

The entrance to the securely fenced complex is attended 24 hours - children play safely, it is a very friendly place.  The gardeners are happy to help with luggage carrying, and Abderrahim,(photo above), the young manager of the complex, speaks excellent English and is very helpful. Martin and Linda, the English couple who run the apartments are happy to collect you from port or airport and give expert advice on all the many things to do and enjoy.

 

There is free parking directly outside the apartments..
