Swim or bask on the beach peacefully by the golf course, or visit M’Diq or Martil, each a short drive away, where there are the traditional beach shades, fun and ice cream, even camel or horse rides along the beach.

Stables, where excellent horses and ponies are available for beginners to advanced riders are a few minutes walk away at La Ferma stables.

Fun or Beauty? A few of miles down the coast are the Water Park and Amusement park for lively wet fun with the kids. Or visit the Thalassotherapy Centre for an hour or a day of serious pampering and beauty treatments.

Become part of the teeming life in the World Heritage Medina at Tetouin and buy a carpet to take home as a proof of your adventures - we can recommend a guide as the streets are a labyrinth! If you would like to learn classic or Moroccan Arabic there is a college where long or short courses can be arranged.
For wonderful expeditions, walk and picnic in the hills. Or explore the amazing mountain town of Chefchaouen, and buy locally made artefacts you can see being made on looms and in kilns.

Tangiers is less than an hour away, a town and port with centuries of history and fascinating buildings, and a lively night life.Spend a day at the Spanish enclave of Ceuta, (half an hour’s drive) and enjoy Baroque churches and ancient traditions, visit the city walls first built by the Byzantines, fascinating museums, duty free shopping and the huge aqua park - wonderful for families with waterfalls and beaches.

For those staying longer who have transport, the possibilities are endless. Drive the intriguing mountain route to Fez; about 2 ½ hours, maybe stay overnight and have more time explore its mysterious depths?
